0 >> adam laxalt.com. >> tucker: before we go there is new questions and new evidence about how ilhan omar got citizenship. that marriage, and there's an investigation on that. see you tomorrow. >> sean: welcome to "hannity." we begin with what is chilling a fox news alert. in moments the 45th president of the end of the states donald trump states donald trump will joining us live on camera to respond to the gut wrenching disaster that is now unfolding inside afghanistan as 10,000 plus american citizens are trappedze inside the country and we see no immediate plan to geth them out as joe biden has been asleep at the wheel for days. we expect, oh, you might momentarily arrive from his presentation of the white house. there are direct negotiations between the taliban and the redlines that he put in place, that joe biden clearly did not enforcet president trump coming up exclusively. meanwhile tonight joe biden finally coming back from camp david and gearing up for what is i guess a restful night at the white house while thousands of our fellow americans are living through hell on earth in afghanistan. we cannot even report to you tonight the exact number of americans that are trapped inside afghanistan. somewhere we are told of reports between 10,000 men may be as many as 40,000 of our fellow americans are trapped behind m1, can enemy lines spread out all over the country.ey we don't know where they all are. the biden administration does know exactly how many, they don't know where these americans are located. the biden administration is telling them, to shelter in place and were notified to find your own t way to the airport in kabul. please tell me, that's not your plan, you guys are not serious. according to biden's clueless and national security advisor, the taliban will know that they are in control and provide safe passage. thiss as the fighters announced savagely beating, shooting and stabbing people all around the airport. a foreign correspondent with the "l.a. times" tweeted out these horrific images showing the taliban using gunfire, whips, sticks and sharp objects attacking those on airport road. according to one u.s. official, "the taliban have a ring outside of the airport and they won't let anyone inside of it and the big issue here is that no people outside of the taliban ring will get out. that's the m u.s. military traid pack with 600 plus people desperately fleeing kabul. and capable of carrying with 150 individuals, they took off with seven passengers on board and meanwhile taliban terrorists are going doorrr to door, searching for americans, allies and american interpreters and anyone else who they believe assist at the u.s. in any way over the last 20 years. there are horrifying reports of people being tortured. this and it according "the washington post," when would they ever agree with sean hannity? u.s. citizens are not reaching out to anyone and everyone back in washington for help. at the biden administration must move on to rescue them before it's too late. as a country, we need to pray to god that it is not too late. with every passing hour and everyy passing day we got closer and closer to what could be possibly meth hostage situation and the number one priority of the biden administration, every american, as we speak at this hour there's no plan to rescue our fellow citizens let alone our allies let alone the translators that were promised by our government that at this moment ever came were protected by us, and there is no plan whatsoever. and even worse, they would commit to securing the airport past august the 31st even if fellow americans are trapped inside. >> if we offer any guarantee to the americans and afghan allies that if they remain there past the end of the month, and our focus right now is undoing the work at hand and the task at hand and that his day by day, getting as many american citizens, as many applicants and those eligible to be evacuated to the airport on planes. that's the secretary of state and everybody on the national security team so that's where we will keep our b1 jen psaki ignored this for three straight days as they have both been on vacation. they seem totally clueless and oblivious to what was beo unfolding behind the eye to see. if you are afraid for your life end of an afghanistan somehow seeing the showng come up with a you are an american or one of our allies you have good reason to feel that way. if you're a journalist whose life is at risk tonight like every other american, joe biden has no plan for you either. and this is political anyway. and every good and decent american, we want you all home safely. for whatever reason joe biden just didn't seem to care. and the odds were higher that you would be enslaved by the taliban. joe biden takes zero responsibility as we saw yesterday. you see they are either heartless or completely checked out, you decide. until a few hours ago joe biden have not even spoken, and that's not even a single other world leader. keep in mind biden was warned over and over and over again. marco rubio told us last night that a strategy for withdrawal would end in this disaster. and that's been warning and ignored repeatedly. the decisions that were based on the ground when they were conducive because they are not conducive right now for what's happening. as this crisis is unfolding right and can only be bothered to put his vacation on pause for a short ten minute scripted speech where he blames everybody for this disaster and then set the box stopped with him and turned around and went right back on vacation. whereas the wall street journal editorial board and quite eloquently put it, bite into admin afghanistan on the americans there dropped dead.is even one formal cia analyst, i couldn't believe my eyes. msdnc was outraged and rightly so. speak about this controversial speech by the american president, didn't run from it, he owned it. h he owned his decision and on the fact that as he put it, the buck stops with him. >> i hope he owns their death, too. and more than the united states did in 20, when you are not getting paid on a regular basis, when you are not getting fuel, and yet it stilll showing up to the fight. we promised them in their time of need that we would take care of them, how do you ever expect to ever trust them if we don't do what we can. >> sean: joe biden has destroy the credibility around the world. china and russia are already cut deals with the new islamic emirates, and just two decades after 9/11 in 2001. we had them in custody and he was a prisoner at guantanamo bay. we have him and have no reason to release him, but he was released. in a swap, you might remember for army deserter bowe bergdahlf during the obama/biden administration. if you recall at the time they both assured all of us in america that they were going to cut her and whatever returned to afghanistan or terrorism ever again. but don't worry according to the biden administration, all americans can trust this terrorist to notus get them safe passage to the airport that they now have created a perimeter around and not allowing anyone alto get through. the one that is currently surrounded, the one that embassy workers were airlifted into. just days ago, none of this would happen and how could he be so wrong? that's a question we will be asking for a long time. take a look. >> is the t taliban takeover now inevitable? >> no it is not. because you have troops that have 300,000 as well-equipped as any army in the world, and in air force. something like 75,000 taliban. there is going to be no circumstance when you see people being lifted off the roof of an embassy of the united states fromd afghanistan. >> sean: now this is a disaster in a massive scale with no end in sight. how we deal with this now? first with reaction, lieutenant colonel oliver north has been there many times and happen to be in vietnam is well with a couple of purple hearts to show for it.w we don't know how many people and we don't know where they all are. we know they can't get to the airport and planes aren't available and nobody seems to have any plan to get them out of there and it did not see this coming.co what do we do now? >> while there were people that saw it coming. let me go back to where we were. >> sean: you're right, i'm at the biden administration.e >> here are some real numbers. the number of american service members killed in afghanistan throughbe april 2nd, 2,448. u.s. contractors killed, 303,486. afghan national military and police, 66,273. anyone who says the afghan army wouldn't fight is lying to himself and the american people and of course the people of afghanistan. hwho you think are the gold str families in the united states will miss those americans who t were killed over the year, think about what it's like if you were an afghan and you lost your father and who lost her brother and you lost your sons. we promised them that we would stick it out. it turns out there's not just 10,000 interpreters, is close to 50,000 if you count their family members. we promised to take them out with us and that's not happening. there are lots of other things coming out in this administration. the other night, the president talked about over the horizon capabilities for dealing with those capabilities. air power but no search and rescue for downed pilots means it's useless, the unfounded and unfolded. the president actually said that. this unfolded faster than we expected. because he refused to take the advice of the cia and from his own staff. the bottom t line of it is, it unfolded faster than we expected and gives us more than what we expected.pe we hoped it was happening and 6-9 months, instead of six days. this administration has been deceiving us and the rest of the world. but that's not trues since he started losing the troops when he set the withdrawal date. the afghan military begins with him saying everyone has to be out by the 31st of august. the fact that the taliban does not have an air force, in fact they do now. some of thoseir aircraft were nt flown out of the country and some were disabled. there were people flooding to isis, radical islamists from all over the world. and again the comment about its wrong ordered american troops, it's absolutely an outrage, it's terrible. the freedom alliance that you helped, we got 500 college students, those who were killed and permanently disabled and the parents and brothers, for the kind of people that really were and they give their lives for the safety of this country. they didn't want to quit, many are volunteers who have been back multiplehe times. they are so despondent, i'm concerned that the suicide rate for our veterans which dropped from 22 through 20, and by organizations like freedom alliance encourage them not to take their lives and will starte to climb dramatically. ten days ago we had 2300 u.s. troops on the ground and now we have over 7,000 then we are looking for 10,000 americans. >> sean: at least. >> exactly, we don't know how many there really are. about that? and nobody gets out there to look for them because the taliban is protecting us. >> god help them and pray for them. first, afghanistan withdraws up their allies and the white house is forced to push back on chinese propaganda attacking the u.s. and taiwan or what they call reunification. here with reaction to that is arkansas senator tom cotton. chinese is now on the line with russia in providing arms to iran. they are threatening japan's military bases and we know they are talking about recognizing these new "islamic emirates of afghanistan" as quickly as possible. onop top of that we are talking about reunification which might end up being the takeover of taiwan. we now have all of our enemies seemingly trying to take advantage of what's going on here. how do we first save the lives of americans in afghanistan? >> you see the chinese propaganda that will reverberate for years to come but the immediate priority as you say is to get the americans trapped behind taliban lines out of afghanistan. joe biden told a bald-faced lie when he said they plan for every contingency. but they obviously did not because there are tens of thousands of americans god told him checkpoints. my office has been in contact with these people. at the taliban have checkpointsl all over the roads and control all access to it.at jill biden's administration won't even commit to that airport for two more weeks. and that's how the taliban is willingg to grant safe passage and it's a fiasco. it has grave, create threats for our future and really revealss, jill biden's impotence and incompetence to the world. >> sean: it is scary and how this can happen. we are h going to get our fellow americans out of there? >> i wish i could say that but based on what i've seen from the biden administration over the last twoth days is my office has worked to provide information to hundreds of americans and basically told us that they don't want us to contact them anymore. just send them to the website and hopefully they get a text message. how are they supposed to get through taliban lines to begin with? there's no plan to evacuate ten or 15,000 americans and he would think that the last thing he would do is turn out the airbase and right now we have thousands of our countrymen trapped behind enemy lines at risk of being taken hostage by the taliban at any time. president trump, moments away but for us joining us former cia station chief contributor dan hoffman and former white house chief of staff mike meadows. i've noticed mark meadows that joe biden has tried too blame this on -- let's see, the president of afghanistan and the troops of afghanistan that he assured us, and i have a number of sources that have told me that extraordinarily harsh and very clear language, if they dared step foot into any other region. >> i can tell you that he was not only straightforward in his conversations with the taliban, any u.s. asset and any u.s. personnel was actually harmed or in harm's way because of the taliban. he would put the full force and might of the department of defense really with them as the bull's-eye of this target. i can tell you that also for the blame to go president trump, not only will they take the withdrawal from afghanistan and doing it on aha more measured process, but we can do is put a blueprint out there for a bite into actually follow so no one was in harm's way. you know, one key points, you don't take out and withdrawal and leave 10,000 u.s. citizensd they are, you get this kind of debacle and it's nothing short of incompetent and not a lack of intelligence. it's a lack of acting on that intelligence that is soo troubling. >> sean: it wasn't followed at all but it was laid out. daniel hoffman, i have to believe, agencies have been telling us since last week. here are 60-90 days away and i was hearing that last week. how can you be so wrong? how can biden told the country that he had all this confidence in the afghan military, there was no confidence at all. how do you mess up that badly? they have intelligence for decades. >> i expect there are a lot of hearings to follow. to be in the hot seat and testifying before congress and explaining what kind of intelligence assessment they were providing the president but let's make it clear. it wasn't a secret that the government of afghanistan blacked legitimacy. only 2 million people voted in their last election, and there were significant problems of their military but as we've all noted repeatedly the last few days was when this administration chose to withdraw our forces, and that's what put our mission at risk in afghanistan. we don't have overland reconnaissance, and -- but we leave.ady to we were ready to do this and conditions on the ground where the main criteria for president trump straw down and ultimate changeover. but i've got to run, right now we do have the president on the line. thank you both. if mark meadows and dan hoffman. joining is now alive is the 45th president of the united states mr. donald j. trump. let me go back -- i have had a number of people tell me that they were very specific conditions and very specific warnings that you gave personally to the taliban, and joe biden is trying to blame w you. i'd like to first give you an opportunity to respond to that, your assessment of what's going on and what was that conversation to the extent that you are able to share it with us? >> it's good to be with you but it's terrible time for our country. i don't think in all of the years our country has ever been so h humiliated. i don't know. would you call it a military defeat or psychological defeat?l we can go back to jimmy carter with the -- that this is many times worse and you are doing with thousands and thousands of americans and others are stranded and very dangerously -- billy stranded in afghanistan. so it's something, you can't even believe that a thing t like this. i looked at that big monster cargo plane yesterday with people grabbing thehe side and trying to getrd flown out of afghanistan because of their fears are, incredible fear, and they are blowing off the plane from 2,000 feet in the air, no one has ever seen anything like that. that blows helicopters and vietnam away. this has been the most humiliating period of time i've ever seen. yes, we had a great deal and worked on it very hard. mike pompeo and many others worked on that, meetings with the taliban, of course. they had at once a year of negotiating and i spoke to numerous locations to the head of the taliban and we had a very strong conversation. i told him up front, i said look. before we start, let me tell you right now that if anything bad happens to americans or anybody else or if you ever come over to our land we will hit you with the force and country has ever been hit with before, a force so great that you won't even believeat it. and your village, and i named it, it will be dropped right there. and probably the top person, but i would say that's probably the top person and it seems to be, that's the way it's rolling right now. but i had a very strong conversation and i also had a good conversation with them. we talked for a while after that and that was the primary point i was making. and he understood it. i asked him, do you understand? and he said yes i do understand. i wanted him to get a deal done with the afghanit government. now i don't have a lot of confidence in connie, i said that openly and plainly, i thought he was a total creek and got away with murder, spent all his time wining and dining our senators. the senators were in his pocket, that was the problems that we had and i never liked him. i guess it was a true story, i would suspect it is. look at his lifestyle and he got away with murder in many different ways. this is what i would consider to be much more important in the sense that they were the problem. they were good fighters and they fought hard. you have to remember when they were coming to washington to meet with me they decided to kill an american soldier because they thought that was a good way to negotiate and i canceled the trip. we had a conditions base agreement. if you remember, it said may 1st we want to get out because we have to get out. i listen to people on your show and other shows say we should stay. but they don't know. we were spending 42 billion a year.li think of it, 42 billion. i understand russia spends 50 billion per year for their entire million, we were spending 42 billion, not 1%, that's nonsense. 42 billion on defending that for years and years. we've been there now for not 20 years but 21 and a half years and we get nothing out of any of the things that we do whether they spend that kind of money and then people say how inexpensive it was, and i have to tell you all so that we know soldiers in the last year and a half because of me and because of the understanding that we had to. think of that. hain chicago and in new york and in other cities in the united states, many people die every weekend. we lost no soldiers in afghanistan because they knew i wasn't going to put up with that and that's what happened. so we had a very strong conversation. >> sean: let me ask you this, sir. it's interesting to listen to joe biden blame you, and say i inherited this deal. i inherited secure borders and energy independence and also three vaccines and therapeutics like regeneron and that we now what's been unfolding.no i want to go back. i want to be very clear here because secretary of state pompeo on this program said exactly what you did. there wouldn't be an exit strategy that didn't include the current conditions on the ground and i have multiple sources, and you are confirming tonight that it sounds to me like you told the taliban that if they violated any aspect of this agreement with territorial ambitions, we learned last week that 60% of the country was in their control. and you told them in no uncertain terms, it sounds to me like you would basically treat them like you took care of the caliphate in syria, isis. >> what we did. we are getting rid of the caliphate. everyone said it was impossible but i did it very quickly. i let the generals make the decisions, because we have a lot of generals that shouldn't be generals right now frankly. and i'm watching them all the time. we have some great ones, great leaders in our military and we have the greatest leaders in the world and we are giving it a very bad reputation. we took this horrible place, i mean a place that we shouldn't have been involved, it was an horrible decision going into the middle east. i know the bush family will not be happy but i believe it was the worst decision in the history ofn hi our country whene decided to go into the middle east. it turned out to be quicksand and we have destroyed them the least. you think it's better now than it was 20 or 21 years ago, it's eamuch worse. it was a horrible decision that cost us trillions of dollars. if you look at both sides, because i like to look at botho sides, millions and millions of lives. it's no different than it was,eb it's much worse. because you have to rebuild it. it's been blown to pieces. the worst decision, you could do strikes, and retribution for the world trade center but to get stuck in there like with quicksand. we did terrible things so think of what's happening now. i've heard as many as 40,000 americans in the taliban, good fighters, i will tell you you have to give them credit for that. that's what they do is they fight. the taliban has circled the airport and who knows if they will treat us right? all of a sudden they will say, frankly if they were smart -- and they are smart. they should let the americans out. but we havere situations where e have two or three or four hostages, we had 40,000 americans not to mention others and people that helped us in afghanistan. we have 40,000 potential hostages, a minimum of 11,000 but could be as many as 40. but, we have no idea how m many. >> sean: so they trusted that the afghan military was so far superior, over 300,000 strong and they had an air force, but let me go back to the words that you used it to the taliban leader because we knew last week that 60% of the country had already been taken over by the taliban. there was no sense of urgencyyo today. to mean. under your plan if they had taken over 5% that was not in your agreement, what would have happened toee them? >> we would have hit them very hard. again, the words are conditions, plural, conditions based. it was an agreement were actually we wanted to get out by may 1st and they violated the agreement so it's a great agreement for a lot of different standpoints and frankly biden didn't have to go by thatas agreement. look what he has done to the border? we stopped drugs, we stopped human trafficking, we stopped people from coming in and prisoners from coming in, now you have the worst people in the world. they are entering our jails into our country. this like the southern border but it's handled even worse. nobody handled the southern border worse. had the most secure border that we've ever had and i we have by far the worst border we've ever had and afghanistan is the exact same thing. think of this. have the military and it's holding it. we reduced it and they were doing a good job. and we were fine, but we have the military there and we take the military out before we took our civilians out. b and before we took the interpreters, we wanted to help them out. but by the way, i'm america first. we also have to help people that helped us and we have to be careful with the vetting because we have some rough people in erthere. but can youma imagine? what we were going to do very quickly as we were going to take the military outclassed. the people were coming out and the agreement was violated so i held things back because we weren't going to do anything again that was conditions based. but here is, just to finish, the people come out first and then i was going to take all of the military equipment. we have billions and billions of dollars of new black hawk helicopters, brand-new, that russia will not be examining and so will china and everybody else. we have brand-new army tanks and also to equipment missiles, we have everything. i was going to take it out because i knew they weren't going to fight.ju just one thing and i have to say, i said why are they fighting? why are these afghan soldiers fighting against the taliban? and i was told some very bad information by a lot of different people. the fact is they are among the highest paid soldiers in the world and they were doing it for a paycheck because once we stopped, once we left, they stopped fighting. so all the people that talk about the bravery and everything, i say everyone is brave but the fact is our country were paying the afghan soldiers of fortune and sort of bribing them tos fight. that's a great thing we are getting out but nobody has ever handled a withdrawal worse than joe biden. this is the greatest embarrassment i believe in the history of our country. >> sean: mr. president, we don't know how many americans are trapped behind enemy lines. i know the taliban has set up a perimeter around the airport. i guess the question is, how do we get our people home now? what would you advise, what would you do if you were put into the situation right now and it often and you were to take over? what is the answer? because we don't know where they are, senator tom cotton said the people were told to go to a website. don't call anymore, go to a website he said. i'm like please tell me we have a better plan than that, so has been on vacation and i just learned he landed back at the white house. nice of him to return. >> and the only return to because he was getting terrible press. and i don't even believe he's calling the shots. what you need more than anything respected.t that is you need a president that got rid of i isis, we did a job, outback daddy. i won't even mention all of the things that we did, no one has ever done will be done. china was paying us billions and billions of dollars and companies were moving back into our country and china respected us. and frankly they respected me. but if you look, russia had the pipeline stopped, totally stopped. biden comes in and approves the pipeline but he didn't approve the keystone xl pipeline. you need a president that is respected. i never realized how important, frankly, and it's a horrible thing to say but how important the president, ahead of this country is. i thought maybe it would've run through bureaucracy, but it doesn't. you need someone up there that you are going to respect. they criticized me when i talked toth kim jong un. president biden told me it was the single biggest problem that i had. he did try but it was not receptive on the other side. it was receptive with me. we were supposed to have a war and probably a very big nuclear war and i get along with him great and i got along with him great. he doesn't like biden much, also he's not. but i got along with him great. you remember that. remember the big button versus the little button? we could along great. we had a very good relationship. we met, got no credit for that one, no problem. by the way, south korea, i got them to pay billions of dollars. we are protecting south korea. they are very rich. they were paying us nothing. i got them to pay billions and billions of dollars because we are protecting them from north korea and i had a very good relationship with president moon and all of the people in south korea. in fact they liked me and i liked them so i said why are we doing this for nothing? japan, the same thing. so many, we are protecting the world, we can't do this.a if you look at russia and you look at china, many countries are they fighting for?y they are fighting for russia and fighting for china. they are not fighting for 93 different countries all over the world and most of them -- nobody ever heard of them. so we had a very, very strong conversation and frankly it absolutely would not have done what they had done right now. this is the greatest embarrassment, and beyond embarrassment. this is something that will affect our relationships for years to come in decades to come and i will say when china watches this, they are so happy and they are laughing at us. i extracted billions and billions of dollars out of china and it never happened. we never got $0.10 from china. billions and billions. they were so happy to see a raked election, they might have helped it along but they were so happy. this is the greatest embarrassment that i've ever seen and, you do an incredible job inin covering it and i appreciate it, the whole country appreciate that. this is the greatest embarrassment in the history of our country. and let me tell you, we haven't stopped. this is, not ending. again, we have all of those thousands of americans over there and others and you are saying, how are they getting it? they have a taliban ring around the airport. they said nobody else, they are saying they willec negotiate but the history is that they are very brutal and that they don't like to negotiate. that's the history. i didn't put us in this position. he should have gotten this to billions first and then the military. we have billions of dollars of brand-new beautiful equipment. take the equipment out then take the soldiers out. frankly i said take the soldiers out but before you leave, blow up all the ports? because they are now being used by the enemy. i >> i'm watching both russia and china race in and they want to recognize the islamic merits of afghanistan almost immediately. i mention to you that i had numerous sources that said, apparently a lot of people are on your phone calls. they said what we really need to do is release the calls between president trump and the head of the taliban and maybe what we are at it we can release some of the calls from president trump and president xi that americans might be shocked to hear, how strong you were and how forceful you were in one of these conversations which leads me to the question about what's going on with china and russia. but china in particular has threatened our military bases, japan's military basis. they lectured our country in front of our secretary of state, not mike pompeo, about human a rights of all things and then the communist chinese are saying we need to beg for permission to land in taiwan and theirn. propaganda newspaper is suggesting that america won't lift a finger to help our allied taiwan if, in fact, they have reunification which means they want to take over taiwan and i'm not sure i disagree with that assessment. i don't believe joe biden would lift a finger to help taiwan. your thoughts on the new aggressive nature of china? >> while i had a great relationship with president xi. a really great relationship, until covid. i had a very good relationship and we met at mar-a-lago. i told him very strongly, don't. do anything having to do with taiwan, just don't do it.tr i said it much stronger than that. i'm not going to say exactly how but it was that very strongly. thisis was sitting on a sofa ina meeting that was supposed to last 15 minutes before we went on to various other things with their different people, but it lasted for i hours. got along great. the first half hour i said it do not do anything having to do with taiwan. i know you want to but do not do it. then the election gets rigged and we end up with a different president and, what happens? there were bombers last week, 28 bombers flying over taiwan and this happened a week after the election. they were all of a sudden, i think bad things are going to happenen with respect to taiwan because they don't respect our leadership and they no longer respect our country and that's a really bad thing. china does not respect us any longer and they had more respect for us to seven months ago and they ever had for this country. >> sean: let me ask you about, the border was one of your big issues. you had put in place to stay in mexico policy, he built over 50. he went at catch and release. now the stay in mexico policy is gone and at the wall construction has ended and it's no longer catch and release, it's process and release. in the middle of the pandemic, a high rate of covid positivity. there's no faxing mandates, faxing passports,rt mask mandats for illegal immigrants that there burgeoning american people with. then those people are being dispersed all over the country. a big change that seven months could make and now it's going to bew millions of people. what was your reaction? what is your reaction? >> i've never seen anything like what was happening and is happening now in our southern border. all we had to do was nothing. people weren't even allowed into our country andd we won in the courts. it was very tough. the wall was almost completed, could have been built in another month but they delayed two and a half years with the democrats in congress. he never had a border anywhere like it and almost immediately they ended these policies. catch and release, you catch and release them into our country instead of catching them and bring them back into our country. many of these people arere stone cold and very hard to conflict, and prisoners. they are emptying their jails, not just hundreds and el salvador but many countries are coming in and emptying out their presence and letting them come into our country and they are walking and in caravans in other ways. so i never saw anything so stupid in myup life until the lt few days. with afghanistan. that blows the stupidity of the southern border away. what happened and what is happening in afghanistan is unbelievable and we are being set up a very tough people that are very great negotiators. they are automatically great negotiators and have been fighting for a thousand years and everything about them they negotiate. we are being set up, they have all of those people and in a certain way they consider them to be hostages. let's see what happens over the coming weeks. but that is not a story that endedn yesterday, this could bea very bad ending. >> sean: we have americans caught behind enemy lines right now and we were told that this would never happen and it happened.ea one of the reasons i've been an advocate of energy independence, because what happens in the straits of hormuz in the least are really not that important.is you accomplish something in your administration, i don't think you got a lot of credit for it but you made america energy independent for the first time in 75 years. i don't think in the last months of your administration you imported single barrel of oil from saudi arabia. now in the last two weeks we've had joe biden baking opec to increase production because it still is the lifeblood of the world economy. my question is with gas up $1.30 per gallon, if this is a new tax on the american people, that means the cost of delivering every single product in every grocery store, drugstore, every home depot and lowe's is costing americans more and ablation on top of it at 5.4%. that's a 15 year high and your reaction to that aspect of the economy alone. >> so energy independence was one of my greatest achievements i thought. i thought the vaccine, energy independence and what we did on the border, frankly afghanistan would have been great. we would have been out with dignity and pride and it would have worked outou great. but again it's not the concept of leaving, it's the way they withdrew. it was not even possible to believe. but gasoline as you know was $1.87 when i was leaving office and now it's going to be up. and i talk about negotiators, they are killing us. and what you didn't say was that biden failed with opec, they told him no on the cutbacks. to think that we are negotiating with opec, that's how we got into the middle east years ago because we needed the energy and we went into the middle east and wero protected countries. it we didn't have to do that anymore. we were energy independent and now those wells were shut down of those jobs were gone and keystone -- this number is 48,000 jobs, most people live in the campaign because biden never talked about closing up keystone. he said we will look at it, but they were lying because that was almost the first day that they close up keystone and those workers were devastated. the head of the union, they all support me but the head of the union supported by then and they wanted to throw him out because he was the worthless. but they lied about so many things. they liedhi about energy and lid about keystone, lied about the military and lied about soou mu. our country is in such trouble. >> sean: i want to go back to russia because with all these massive cyberattacks and their energy grid and also our food line with our meats in this country. and we also witnessed in your reference earlier in the interviewhe the waiver, that you prevented vladimir putin from getting which allowed him to build a pipeline which was literally the lifeblood of the economy, our allies in western europe, while simultaneously cutting out the keystone pipeline high paying career jobs for americans. i've got to ask because if it was you or your sons, and let's see, what if they have in common? in russia, hunter biden got a lot of money. in china they didn't do a deal with goldman sachs, or deutsche bank, they did a deal with hunter biden, a billion five with the bank of china. again, joe biden has said nothing to threats against our military or reunification threats against taiwan, or you must get permission to -- and my question is if your last name was trump and you were making money in china, kazakhstan and the ukraine, if you're son lied on the gun application and through that in a garbage basket skor wastebasket, if your sons were on video smoking crack and with, but the question not logically become, do you think these countries have compromising materials potentially? remember adam schiff, o compromising materials, on trump, whenas he didn't have and he was being scammed. if you see a potential for compromise here? because it doesn't sense to give kootenay waiver. >> so the story and the new tape that just came out a few days ago has not been on the mainstream media at all. it was a new show and a couple of shows but it wasn't on nbc or cbs or abc. it wasn't on cnn, it was the worst thing that i've seen. you can't even imagine this. and i hope the families live well but what they are doing is they are doing political persecutions with their prosecutors whether they are local or federal. and our people didn't do that. republicans don't do it anywhere, it's like a different world. these prosecutors were persecutions and it's happeningp in our country is angry about it and they see it. but what's going on with hunter and china and russia and all of that, they go after people for tiny little things that his someone took vast amounts of money out of china and ukraine and russia, $300 billion from the mayor's wife and chris wallace wouldn't let me talk about that during a debate, wouldn't even let me bring it up. it's a very sad. of time for country. everything is going bad. we have inflation and the economy is going to, we have inflation like we haven't seen for a long l time. an energy goes up everything goes up because it's all about energy. if you look at the price of food where it's being doubled and tripled in some cases we will have inflation. i remember with jimmy carter, and the good thing for jimmy is to me is looking like a much better president right now because you always have to have comparisons. but i remember with jimmy carter imand big inflation the crime wt to 21% and the country came to a halt. well first of all i will tell you we better get our act together, that's all that we can say. you look at the economy and inflation in so many other things, and more, the biggest drilling site in the world, i got it open. ronald reagan couldn't do it, they've been trying for 60 or 70 years and i got it done. it was just terminated, the biggest site in the world. probably bigger than saudi arabia felt like terms of oil. i got it done and they were just terminating. the people of alaska were very upset. but here is the greatest thing. we had energy independence and nowde we don't. >> sean: instead of baking opec, governor abbott, we are praying for him tonight, i know he announced he had covid today and another breakthrough case. but why don't we just go back to doing what was working for you? instead of allowing millions of people into this country with a high rate of covid positivity in the middle of the pandemic and then dispersing them all around the country, why don't we go back to the stay inst mexico policy and the border wall building and then process and release and protect our borders? they seem to be things that could be simply resolved. >> want nothing simple. the things we want on the border were won through records, then all of a sudden we give themem . president of mexico is a great guy, very friendly. we had 28,000 soldiers paid for by mexico and his soldiers on the border not letting people in. but we didn't have people coming in during the construction of the wall. and the wall worked. we built almost 500 miles and they could finish it in a, mont. now they are paying billions of dollars not to finish the wall, it's not even believable. and the contractors that haven't been, danced having a field day when you look that all of the stupidity i don't think our take it and i don't think our people can take it, either. >> sean: let me ask you. the american people will be watching record of illegal immigrants coming to the country and when you said at 25 year low of illegal immigrants coming into the country, many people are angry about mask mandates, faxing mandates and boxing passports but none of these restrictions are being applied to people that are not respecting our laws, our borders and our sovereignty. how do you explain that?he andy support the restrictions on americans but not illegal immigrants? >> first of all it's not 25t years, it's the worst in history but not the worst in 25 years. they've never had a situation where massive caravans of people were pouring into our country. as far as a vaccine, i'm very proud of it. i pushed the fda very much and i got them to approve a great vaccine, three of them come in a period of less than nine months. i was toldnd by fauci and everybody else that it would take 3-5 years and i got it done in less than nine months. i actually think that if i didn't get it done worldwide he would have another spanish flulu which killed almost 100 million people according to history. 50-100, they don't even know. but i would love for people to take the vaccine.t, in the meantime, wearing a mask if you want but again you want your freedoms. you have to have your freedoms. >> sean: i know the obvious question we had with the last minute of the program availablei is argue, what you consider a run again in 2024? but i will go back to the original question. h now that we have all these americans behind enemy lines, and the 45 seconds we have left, what will you do not want to help with that specific situation? >> so because the campaign finance laws are incredibly complicated and unbelievably stupid, i'm not actually allowed to answer that question although i'd love to answer it. let me put it this way, i think you'll be happy and a lot of our friends will be happy but i'm not actually allowed to answer it, makes it very difficult if i do. but you will be happy. >> sean: would you be willing to get on the phone to the people you've given very harsh words to and talk to them, the
