hand of the red cross and they will be flown to this air base to receive medical attention and be able to call loved ones. the israeli have been bringing ambulances and they have been preparing for small children that have been under hamas control to be reintegrated. they will be taken by helicopter or ambulance where they will be hospitalized in separate wards. all women and children are from the same small community in southern israel. they are being exchanged for palestinians. two rocket alerts 15 minutes after the set time. this break in fighting will go for four days and will see 50 israeli hostages released for 150 palestinian prisoners. israeli are calling on all residents in gaza not to leave the south. a group of palestinians tried to make their way back to the north to see their home and any family members left behind. israeli stopped them from doing so. the highly anticipated news today, 13 hostages expected to be released to the red cross an hour from now. guys. >> carley: if they are willing to make, hamas is willing to make this hostage deal, that could mean they are really hurting. do you think the idf is outperforming what was expected here and what do you think about hamas? >> trey: we've been talking to hamas leadership, since this took place. hamas in no way expected this level of israeli military response. in the past israeli launched air campaign and incursions into the gaza strip. what we are seeing today is unprecedented and the israelis say they will continue to fight until hamas is destroyed and the strip is demilitarized and this will take months. israel says this is just a break in fighting. this was negotiated by the qataris. once the ceasefire is over, hamas will continue to push deepel into the strip. >> brian: i was just speaking to jack keane, he thinks 5000 hamas fighters are dead, but 20s,000 are left and he thinks they are looking for a stand off and they will continue to fight. have you heard that? >> trey: absolutely and we talked about gaza city being the hamas strong hold believing 80% of hamas fighters were in hamas city. now many fighters and leaders have moved to the southern part to gaza second largest city of khan yunis, an area with higher civilian population than it had before the war began. israelis face fierce battles and the hamas militants have rockets and ipg's and they will continue to fight. what will the israelis do? you have a large city in gaza filled with civilians and hamas is hiding among the civilians. it is a challenging battlefield. >> joey: excellent point. we reported israel telling palestinians to go away and now the fight will be where the civilians went. there is pressure on israel not to go into that area because of that. this hostage deal, big if, if we go through four days and 50 hostages are returned, there is aden dum, one day for every 10 hostages. is there another side where they will release more prisoners? or after the 150 prisoners, we will continue the ceasefire for every 10 prisoners. any way they would halt ariel surveillance, which i think is bigger part of this story than we talked about. >> trey: we have not gotten information that palestinians are willing to release more hostages. they are getting a bad deal on paper, they are not just releasing palestinians, palestinians that were convicted of violent crime and attempted murder. it is unpopular this is taking place, but they want innocent women and children to be released. qatari put this in the agreement and it's been accepted by both israelis and hamas that this ceasefire could be extended and israelis would give the agenda items, including lack of sur surveillance over gaza for 10 hostages per day. israel made clear internally to the security cabinet the fighting will continue, they will do everything through diplomatic changes to get everybody out as possible. when this collapses, they will continue to fight hamas. >> brian: thanks so much. >> carley: thank you. we've been talking about how israel is fighting somewhat of a two-front war. one on the ground militarily and the other is a messaging are wa, in the media, international media and even in the united states. one clip is getting attention, sky news interviewer talking to israeli spokesperson. listen to the question and take note of this israeli government spokesperson's response and reaction to the question. watch this. >> i was speaking to a hostage negotiator and he made comparison between 50 hostages hamas promised to release as opposed to 150 prisoner that are palestinians and made comparison between the numbers and the fact that israel not think palestinian lives are valued highly as israeli lives? >> that is not astonishing accusation. if we could release one prisoner for every one hostage, we would do that, outrageous to say the fact we are willing to release more of them suggest we don't care about palestinian lives. really that is a disgusting accusation. >> brian: i mean, it is a crazy thing to say. you -- the theory is, you don't care about palestinian lives, that is why you are letting out three times as many as you are getting back. >> carley: mental hurdle. i'm sure israel would appreciate a one for one, but they are willing to do a one for three. >> joey: i didn't be understand the reasoning other than supporters of israel said one innocent life is worth three terrible people. quid quo pro, you have israeli spokesperson on and that is the question you ask. >> brian: she responded saying, good morning everyone we put one side to offer a counter claim. an earlier guest, each morning dedicated to presenting fairly the news of this war. another thing, simply, if israel did not care about palestinian lives, there would not be wob left, they could have wiped out two million. >> carley: they are dropping leaflets still telling them to get out. >> brian: if hamas were allowed, they would driveway them all and would go through jerusalem and kill everyone in the country as opposed to israel who could kill everyone in gaza, but are not, they are just trying to kill terrorists. >> carley: they are using palestinians as human shields, members of hamas said their goal was to attack israel so israel would strieb back and create such a human atrocity in terms of civilian the whole arab world would turn against israel. >> brian: we fought a 20-year war. most americans were touched by 9/11, but not touched by the 20-year war. expect a war to go down without innocent loss, if there is critical damage, you are a villain now. if you are a benevolent, just country, war comes to you, you have no choice but to being you can respond. war is messy and evil. evil was commitsed to you and you know it will happen again, war is part of human existence. >> carley: well said. >> brian: when we were dropping bombings in berlin, do you think we hit noncombatants. >> joey: everyone in that war were feeling that war. we didn't have the arrogance to believe we can live through everything is prosper. >> carley: other news to get to, fox news alert. oscar pastoreius was arrested in 2014 for shooting her several times in his home. he will be released on january 5 after being denied parole in march. new york city mayor eric adams denying 1993 sexual assault in a new lawsuit. >> this never took place and i do not recall ever meeting the accuser. >> carley: the democratic mayor is accused of assaulting a colleague while working for the city of new york. asking for a trial and $5 million for the plaintiff. new poll reveals voters think the american dream is slipping away. idea of working hard and you will go far does not hold true anymore. down from 53% in 2012, the poll shows americans feel the country is in worst shape now than 50 years ago. now to this. country music star jelly roll committing a classic holiday husband mistake right before his family's thanksgiving dinner. he posted this plea on his tiktok. let's watch together. >> husbands do, i told my wife i would take care of the dressing, i wanted it from my favorite restaurant. i waited until the day before to call for dressing. we need help. please. he gave the nashville dressing $1000 for coveted dressing, the free promotion has been even worth more. soul food take out. >> brian: mobilized tiktok and twitter followers to get him some gravy. his wife knows he forgot. >> carley: went through great lengths, all should be forgiven. >> brian: all right, let's move on. shoppers racing to stores to catch black friday steals and deals. >> joey: fox business live at cherryhill maul in new jersey with deals. what is going on? >> not as many people come to the mall anymore. you can't try on clothes online, there are a lot of people out looking for deals. look at numbers on holiday shopping. they were increasing big time a few years ago, now not so much. 3 or 4% they say. how much do we spend this year on holiday shop something $875,000 is what the average family spends according to national retail federation. most of us shop online, 58% according to a survey. half shoppers still shop at department stores or discount stores and discounters and small business about 24%. one sad note on the subject of holiday shopping. that is credit card debt, a lot of us putting it on credit cards, last report $1 trillion on american credit card, increase of $48 billion last quarter, that is before this christmas shopping season. be careful, you might go broke. >> brian: i've never seen someone so far away from their cameraman, are you in a fight? >> he didn't bathe this morning. we need to keep our distance. >> brian: that is great. >> carley: he is trying to show the maul is emptier than normal. >> carley: glad that cameraman did that work. holiday spending is expecting to slow. 13.5% of people spent on black friday, now in 2022, 5.4%. now between 3 and 4%, things are slowing down because of the economy. people like jeff said putting stuff on their credit card and having trouble paying it off, fewer people buying gifts this year. >> joey: some people predicted this would happen, equivalent of 7 trillion as result of covid. everyone has money in the bank, they are not spending, you can't go out to dinner and now we have inflation, housing market that is upside down and maybe people don't have the mentality, let's go spend money. >> brian: ceo of sach's fifth avenue says we are taking a measured approach, i don't think it will be horrible business or explosive, something middling, i'm sensing. sach's, get online and get deals. >> carley: social media user named adam kuze. >> brian: his name is anthony. >> nevergoing to understand, i heard in 2010, somebody punched an elderly woman in the face because it was 80% off. it wasn't 5% off, that is labor day sale, memorial day weekend sale. not black friday. black friday should make me walk into a store and go holy, i will wrestle somebody for this. >> carley: my takeaways on that perspective, fewer deals could help crime rate in new york city. >> joey: soul of the country, if you go out there and run over somebody's grandmother to get something, go volunteer somewhere, be a good person. >> brian: more fun to get a flat screen. did that come across genuine? >> it really did. >> carley: very good perspective, cool. >> brian: winding down, let's do it voluntarily. first time ever. coming up issue just hours after preaching unity, biden campaign release a guide for taking on your maga family members. >> carley: tyrus responds next. >> brian: he is cute. ♪ ♪ my dad believed in hard work, and the farm was the perfect place to learn grit, determination and problem solving. we're taking that passion and channeling it through our farm to home bedding bath, and apparel at red land cotton. we grow cotton in the rich red earth of north alabama. and we want our products to be made here in the usa, from the seed in the ground to the final stitch. go to red land cotton dot com and receive 20% off your order with code fox 20 nexium 24hr prevents heartburn acid for twice as long as pepcid. get all-day and all-night heartburn acid prevention with just one pill a day. choose acid prevention. choose nexium. israel is under attack. the war against israel began with the murder of hundreds of precious children. in this orphanage bomb shelter, we're praying for god's help, praying to avino malkino, our father, our king. countless israelis are enduring the devastating anguish of lost loved ones. thousands of rockets have forced over a hundred thousand israelis to become refugees in their own homeland. israeli families are in crisis. the international fellowship of christians and jews is on the ground, reaching jewish people of all ages. children, mothers, the elderly, even holocaust survivors. but we can't do it without you. your gift of $45 will make sure that the people of israel have mobile bomb shelters, emergency supplies, and the hot, nutritious meals that they so desperately need. our teams are working on the ground, often at great risk to themselves. they're delivering meals to the elderly and families who are living in bomb shelters. this would be an incredibly important time for all of the friends of the international fellowship of christians and jews to stand with our friends in israel. let them know that we are not only praying for the peace of jerusalem, but we're also praying and acting in their interest because we believe it's what god would have us do. i simply can't stress enough the urgency of this situation. it's more dire than ever before. this is your moment. this is your opportunity to make a life-saving difference. it's your prayers and gifts that give hope to the people of israel. call, scan, or visit our website now to make your life-saving donation. c'mon, we're right there. c'mon baby. it's the only we need. go, go, go, go! ah! touchdown baby! -touchdown! are your neighbors watching the same game?
