>> trey: we've been talking to hamas leadership, since this took place. hamas in no way expected this level of israeli military response. in the past israeli launched air campaign and incursions into the gaza strip. what we are seeing today is unprecedented and the israelis say they will continue to fight until hamas is destroyed and the strip is demilitarized and this will take months. israel says this is just a break in fighting. this was negotiated by the qataris. once the ceasefire is over, hamas will continue to push deepel into the strip. >> brian: i was just speaking to jack keane, he thinks 5000 hamas fighters are dead, but 20s,000 are left and he thinks they are looking for a stand off and they will continue to fight. have you heard that? >> trey: absolutely and we talked about gaza city being the hamas strong hold believing 80% of hamas fighters were in hamas city. now many fighters and leaders have moved to the southern part to gaza second largest city of khan yunis, an area with higher civilian population than it had before the war began. israelis face fierce battles and the hamas militants have rockets and ipg's and they will continue to fight. what will the israelis do? you have a large city in gaza filled with civilians and hamas is hiding among the civilians. it is a challenging battlefield. >> joey: excellent point. we reported israel telling palestinians to go away and now the fight will be where the civilians went. there is pressure on israel not to go into that area because of that. this hostage deal, big if, if we go through four days and 50 hostages are returned, there is aden dum, one day for every 10 hostages. is there another side where they will release more prisoners? or after the 150 prisoners, we will continue the ceasefire for every 10 prisoners. any way they would halt ariel surveillance, which i think is bigger part of this story than we talked about. >> trey: we have not gotten information that palestinians are willing to release more hostages. they are getting a bad deal on paper, they are not just releasing palestinians, palestinians that were convicted of violent crime and attempted murder. it is unpopular this is taking place, but they want innocent women and children to be released. qatari put this in the agreement and it's been accepted by both israelis and hamas that this ceasefire could be extended and israelis would give the agenda items, including lack of sur surveillance over gaza for 10 hostages per day. israel made clear internally to the security cabinet the fighting will continue, they will do everything through diplomatic changes to get everybody out as possible. when this collapses, they will continue to fight hamas. >> brian: thanks so much. >> carley: thank you. we've been talking about how israel is fighting somewhat of a two-front war. one on the ground militarily and the other is a messaging are wa, in the media, international media and even in the united states. one clip is getting attention, sky news interviewer talking to israeli spokesperson. listen to the question and take note of this israeli government spokesperson's response and reaction to the question. watch this. >> i was speaking to a hostage negotiator and he made comparison between 50 hostages hamas promised to release as opposed to 150 prisoner that are palestinians and made comparison between the numbers and the fact that israel not think palestinian lives are valued highly as israeli lives?
